Giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie 🥜🍫
Indulge in a rich and creamy dessert that brings together all the irresistible flavors of a classic Reese’s peanut butter cup — but in pie form! Perfect for peanut butter lovers and chocolate fanatics alike.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/4 cups crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup salted sweet cream butter
Instructions:
- Prepare the pan: Line a 9-inch pie pan with parchment paper or use a silicone pie mold for easy removal.
- Make the chocolate base: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 1/4 cups of the chocolate chips with 3/4 tablespoon of vegetable oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Create the bottom layer: Pour the melted chocolate into the bottom of the pan and spread evenly. Place the pan in the freezer for 15–20 minutes to set.
- Prepare the peanut butter filling: In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, and melted butter. Mix until smooth and thick.
- Add the filling: Once the bottom chocolate layer is firm, press the peanut butter mixture gently and evenly on top, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Make the top chocolate layer: Melt the remaining 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips with the rest of the vegetable oil until smooth. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread it out evenly to cover.
- Chill to set: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until fully set. Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Optional Garnish:
Top with chopped peanuts, a drizzle of melted peanut butter, or mini Reese’s for extra flair!
